
Frank Frisk, Former Great Lakes Sailor, is a maritime consultant, lecturer and researcher, based out of Marysville, Michigan. Mr. Frisk is not an authorized spokesperson for either Acheson Venture's or the BoatNerd.com web site, though he works with both.
BoatNerd is a 501(C)(3) non profit and they have in place people to deal with the media.

Great Lakes Maritime Center, Noon "Freighter Frank" Frisk will present the recently produced documentary on the history of the S.S.Edmund Fitzgerald.Beginning with the keel being laid and the final Coast Guard follow up reports. This 60 minute documentary is packed with interviews and exclusive archive film from the actual building of the Edmund Fitzgerald and its launch near Detroit, Michigan. The 50th anniversary edition also includes never-before-seen footage of the CURV III, which was used to first explore the wrecksite after it was found in 1976.
